VISITORS TO THE SCHOOLS
It shall be the policy of the Board of Education to encourage parents and all other interested citizens to visit the school throughout the year. Schools shall be encouraged to hold at least one open house for the public during each school year. Permission to visit in the classroom shall be cleared with the principal in order to ensure the least interference with the instructional program. Visitors are asked to proceed first to the school office.
It is not expected that visitors will disrupt the attention of a student, the teacher or a class. Follow-up conferences to visit must be planned well in advance or held at a time other than during the instructional day.
